Automated Substitute Caller Service

Finding qualified substitute teachers and instructional assistants is now a much easier task thanks to the CCIU’s Automated Substitute Caller Service - AESOP.

The Automated Substitute Caller Service provides an efficient centralized method for school districts to obtain substitute employees. In addition, the system eliminates competition among school districts for substitutes, reduces a district’s costs by sharing operating expenses, expands the pool of qualified substitute employees and assures accurate record keeping to better control unemployment costs and payroll processing.

Currently, the CCIU administers the automated substitute caller service for the Coatesville Area, Owen J. Roberts and West Chester Area School Districts as well as for the intermediate unit.
