CT&CE Programs

Career and technical secondary education programs include the Center for Arts & Technology Brandywine and Pickering Campuses, the Chester County Carl D. Perkins Consortium Plan and the Tech Prep Consortium Plan.

Customized secondary education programs include the Chester County Alternative Education Program, the Chester County High School, driver education, and education for adjudicated youth.

In addition, this division oversees the Chester County Middle College High School, a school that allows secondary students to earn college credit while in high school. The Middle College is located on the Delaware County Community College Exton Campus.

This division also oversees the Chester County Adult Training & Education Alliance in cooperation with Delaware County Community College (DCCC). The Alliance combines the resources and facilities of two organizations, which have a tradition of successfully delivering adult training and education programs. As a result, the Alliance provides the full scope of college-related, non-credit courses such as adult literacy and general education development (GED) programs, professional certifications, community education, computer training, and contracted training for business and industry. The combined resources of DCCC and the CCIU make the Alliance the largest provider of computer training in Chester County, with a wide variety of computer course offerings in many locations throughout the county.
