The Chester County Alliance for Adult Training and Education is a partnership between Delaware County Community College (DCCC) and the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU). The Alliance combines the resources and facilities of two organizations that have a tradition of successfully delivering adult training and education programs.
The Alliance provides the full scope of college-related, non-credit courses such as adult literacy programs, professional certifications, community education, computer training, and contracted training for business and industry. The combined resources of DCCC and the CCIU make the Alliance the largest provider of computer training in Chester County, with a wide variety of computer course offerings in seven locations throughout the county.
Programs
Technical and Trade
The Alliance offers a variety of technical training in AutoCAD, automotive technology, carpentry, climate control technology, electrical, and welding.
Computer Training
Basic and advanced users alike will benefit from the diverse computer training offered through the Chester County Alliance.
Corporate Training
Customized training is offered to area employers to help them increase productivity, retain quality employees and to maintain a competitive edge. Training is customized to meet the specific needs of the company's workforce at your location, one of our eight Chester County campuses or an off-site location of your choice.
GED and ESL
Classes are available throughout Chester County for individuals looking to prepare for the GED test or who are interested in building their English language skills.
Career Skills
Train for a commercial drivers license (CDL), become a certified food manager, earn child care provider hours, or work toward a real estate license through an assortment of career skills workshops and training courses.
Personal Skills
Whether its photography, Italian, floral design, or creative writing, the Alliance has just the class to develop your personal skills and interests.
Course Catalog
The Alliance offers non-credit adult training and education courses throughout Chester County. Courses include GED preparation, professional certifications, community education, computer training, and contracted training for business and industry.
