Ashley Day named CAT Pickering's Student of the Month for September 2007
The faculty of the Center for Arts & Technology are proud to announce that Ashley Day has been named student of the month for September 2007. Ashley, a senior in the cosmetology program, was selected on the basis of her continued demonstration of leadership, school spirit, academic and occupational achievement and community service.

Ashley is a member of the Chester County Student Forum, People to People Student Ambassador Program, the National Honor Society and the National Technical Honor Society, Student Council, SADD and Skills USA. In addition, she is a school peer mentor/mediator. She is a member of the Girl Scouts of America.
It is not enough for Ashley to simply be a member of these organizations but she has also assumed ledership positions. Ashley has had held the office of vice president of the junior class; secretary, vice president and president of Skills USA; secretary of Student Council.
In addition to all of this, Ashley is also works part time at CVS; and this past summer she earned three college credits while attending the LeadAmerica Program in Criminal Justice and Forensics.
