The Health Career Academy offers a dual-enrollment option for qualified students entering 11th grade who are particularly interested in a nursing career. The curriculum of study requires a two-year commitment and provides both theory and experience in a high-tech clinical simulation lab as well as health care institutions. Career counseling is an integral part of the program, increasing student success in post-secondary programs. Successful completion of the program will result in attainment of 14 college credits applicable to various post-secondary, health-related programs as well as advanced standing specifically in the Chester County Intermediate Unit Practical Nursing Program and the Delaware County Community College Registered Nursing Program.
