EngineTechnology & Recreational Vehicles

Students in this program learn how to diagnose, repair, rebuild, and machine a variety of two and four-cycle engines that are air cooled and liquid cooled. This program also introduces the operation of the diesel engine.

The ever-increasing complexity of engines and the vehicles/equipment they power demands highly specialized skills. Topics of study include: fuel systems, electronic systems, lubrication systems, cooling systems and high performance aftermarket equipment.

Career Opportunities:

Recreational vehicle and engine repair is one of the fastest growing occupations in the mechanical industry. The Engine Technology & Recreation Vehicles program prepares students for careers in lawn and garden equipment, marine, motorcycle, and automotive engine repair.
