The Teacher Resource and Technology Center general information, policies and procedures on fees, lamination, material & supply limits and supplies available for purchase at the TRTC.
The Chester County Intermediate Unit’s Teacher Center is a facility that enables teachers to design and create their own instructional materials to effectively meet the needs of their students. In order to help all educators achieve their quest for excellence in the classroom and keep our Resource Center a pleasant place to be, we have a set of policies and procedures to be followed. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with these procedures to make the most of your visit. If there are any questions, please contact the Teacher Resource Center at 484-237-5018 or ask a Teacher Resource Center Assistant.
General Information
- Teachers are expected to leave their work areas as they found them: CLEAN. Paint supplies should be cleaned well, unused paper should be placed on the proper shelf, and transparencies should be replaced in their respective files.
- If you find something broken or not working properly, please notify the Teaching Resource Center Assistant.
- Clean-up is always 15 minutes before closing.
Fees
- There is no charge to Chester County public school teachers or Non-Public schoolteachers with a contract with the IU for their visit to the Teacher Resource Center. All other teachers from any county or state are welcome as well, but there is a $25 fee per person, per day, regardless of the time spent working in the center.
- Helpers/volunteers from member schools must have their principal call and confirm a date and time they will use the center. Otherwise helpers/volunteers will be charged a $25 fee.
