Cecil E. Tate Scholarship
Named after the late Cecil E. Tate, who spent nearly 30 years supervising special education programs in Chester County, the Cecil E. Tate Scholarship is awarded each year to a deserving special education senior presently enrolled in either IU or district-run classes in Chester County, regardless of exceptionality. This year, one $500 scholarship will be offered. The recipient may use the scholarship to help defray costs relating to post-secondary education. Examples of post-secondary education include: vocational training programs, adult education at the CATS, attendance at a proprietary trade school, or enrollment in college.
Applications must be submitted no later than 4:00 p.m. on March 30, 2007 to:
