Training and Consultation - Behavior Management

The behavior management team provides consultation at the individual student, classroom and school-wide levels. Workshops and trainings are also available on a variety of behavioral issues.

Services

  • Consultation with individual teachers about an individual student
    • Observation of the student
    • Report with behavioral strategies
    • Consult regarding data collection
  • Consultation with individual teachers about a whole class
    • Observation of the class
    • Report with behavioral strategies using class-wide systems
    • Consult regarding data collection
  • Consultation with a team about an individual student
    • Observation of the student
    • Facilitation of a team meeting
    • Report with behavioral strategies
    • Consult regarding data collection
  • Assist team in conducting a functional behavior assessment and/or writing a behavior intervention plan
    • Assist with initial line of inquiry/staff interview
    • Observation/meeting to determine the function of the behavior of concern
    • Assist with strategies for the plan
    • Consult regarding data collection
