The Teacher Resource and Technology Center provides FBI fingerprinting to teachers and the community.
Applicants must register on the Cogent website at http://www.pa.cogentid.com or call 1-888-439-2486 prior to visiting the fingerprinting center.
There is a $40 application fee. Applicants can pay on-line with a credit card or pay in person when they arrive for their fingerprint appointment. Cash and personal checks will not be accepted.
An official photo ID and confirmation number are required at the time of fingerprint processing.
A mobile unit is available for on-site administration. To schedule this service, please call 484-237-5021.
The hours of operation are Monday-Thursday, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m., and also on Fridays from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Food Manager Certification

The certified food manager program educates food handlers in safe food preparation and handling techniques. All public food service establishments within the jurisdiction of the Chester County Health Department are required to employ at least one person who has successfully completed Chester County’s food manager requirements. This begins with the first certification and continues with a recertification every five years.

This program provides breakfast, lunch, and/or snacks for the students and staff located at the Child & Career Development Center, the Chester County Alternative Education program, the Center for Arts and Technology Brandywine and Pickering Campuses, the CARE, Reach and Steps programs, and seven Head Start centers located throughout Chester County. In addition, the Food Service program also provides meals to our child care centers located in Coatesville, and operates a satellite program for the Family Academy Charter School located in West Chester.
