Gang prevention is the goal of newly formed soccer league

Kennett, PA – Gang prevention is the goal of nine newly formed soccer teams in the Kennett, Avon Grove, and Oxford School Districts. On March 7, the New Garden Jaguars will take the field against the Hurricanes from Fred S. Engle Middle School at New Garden Community Park in Avondale.

Coatesville, PA – Three graduates of the Center for Arts & Technology (CAT) Brandywine Campus were recently welcomed into the school’s hall of fame. Brian Skulrak of Coatesville, Jennifer Ashby of Atglen and Theresa Posse of Oxford were inducted into the CAT Brandywine Alumni Hall of Fame in recognition of their outstanding contributions to their occupations, their civic duty and their exemplary academic and vocational achievement as high school students.

Coatesville, PA - Career Development Center students honed their automotive repair skills while benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Chester County. As part of their course work in the school’s automotive repair program, students repaired a 1992 Subaru Legacy that was donated to the school by Daniel and Veronica Carrone of Coatesville.
