What is Champions for Children?
Each year, the Champions for Children Golf Tournament attracts 120 golfers from the business and educational communities of Chester County. It is one of the most worthwhile local charity golf tournaments in the county with proceeds directly benefiting children in Chester County.
The tournament’s
sole purpose is to raise money to provide scholarships to economically
disadvantaged student graduates. The funds raised by our sponsors and
players have afforded deserving students the opportunity for continued
education and training – an opportunity they may not have had without
this support. All proceeds received from the tournament are used to
provide scholarships for student graduates. Last year’s tournament
raised $29,400 for the scholarship fund.
The tournament is sponsored by the Children’s Fund of Chester County, a 501(c)(3) charitable foundation established in 1995 to improve the quality of the lives of our children. The fund is administered by the Chester County Intermediate Unit.
