Welcome

The Technical College High School is proud to offer students in grades 9 through 12 a career and technical education along with a rigorous academic foundation needed for college success, career readiness and life-long learning. We work diligently to provide technical training and to build academic confidence in our students.

As preparation for post-secondary education and employment, career and technical education provides students the opportunity to analyze, synthesize and critically evaluate real world scenarios. Learning takes place in the classroom and in learning laboratories.

Students demonstrate their learning skills in career-related competitions and on state-mandated, standardized tests. We expect all students to attain a proficient or advanced level of achievement in both their academic and technical programs.

We believe students achieve the best results from hard work, shared goals and the desire to perform at one's best.

We invite you to partner with the Technical College High School during your high school years to exceed your dreams!

The CareerScope Occupational Assessment includes an interest inventory and measures aptitudes aligned with Federal Department of Labor standards. The list of occupations/job groupings included in the report given to the student and guidance staff highlights the occupations in which the student has shown high interest and aptitude. By understanding his/her strengths, a student can focus on choosing occupational areas that provide better opportunities for success. A major goal of occupational assessment is to help each student successfully further his/her education and enter the work force. The occupational assessment (CareerScope) is required prior to acceptance.
