On Saturday November 12, 2011, the Teacher Academy was invited to participate in the professional organization known as Chester County Reading Association. Five times a year teachers from all over Chester County listen and learn from current professors/authors on how to improve their teaching skills. The students enjoyed the lecture titled "The Nuts and Bolts of Organizing Research Projects' by Sue Grimm Mattox. The Teacher Academy is a seniors-only program for all students in Chester County who are interested in a future career in education.
