Suicide is the second leading cause of death among 15-24-year-olds and poses an even greater risk in middle age, with nearly 50,000 deaths in 2022. Addressing suicidal behavior in youth is challenging yet essential for clinicians. This workshop will cover identifying hidden warning signs, building therapeutic alliances, using assessment tools, conducting interviews, and evaluating suicide risk.
