Students from the Avon Grove Intermediate School visited TCHS Pennock's Bridge on Friday, May 15 for career exploration. Students rotated through various TCHS programs and completed hands-on activities alongside current students in each classroom. The students met some of the animals in the Veterinary Science program, practiced the proper hammer-and-nail technique in Carpentry, examined fingerprints in Criminal Justice and "scrubbed in" in Health Career Academy. This is just a small sampling of the skills these students learned during their visit, which might even spark an interest that develops into a career. We hope to see some of these Avon Grove faces again when they return as TCHS students in the next few years! Click here for more details and opportunities to tour!
