PIMS (Pennsylvania Information Management System) was developed to improve data capabilities and enhance school districts' capacities to meet student-level data reporting requirements and provide robust decision support tools. PIMS is an ever-evolving system, but remains of utmost importance for school districts as the data collected and reported is often utilized in PDE (PA Dept of Education) state decision making.
