Participants will be immersed in guided learning experiences exploring equity of access to STEM experiences and the connection to student growth. The Innovation Playground is back by popular demand and provides time to explore innovations in the maker movement, discuss STEM solutions and tinker with new technologies. The playground features the latest in STEM tools, gadgets, and resources. Participants interact with products, consultants and providers regarding how to use the product, how to integrate associated activities into curriculum and what to expect in terms of costs.
Collab Lab Provides participants with a space to reflect and consider next step implementation strategies with colleagues, consultants, and facilitators. Share new findings about tools, develop plans to promote inclusion and accessibility, and discover related resources to address STEM goals. Use social media to promote new understandings or inquire about additional strategies!
