This professional development opportunity will support teachers' learning and implementation of the Concrete-Representational-Abstract (CRA) sequence of instruction, a research-based instructional practice, for the concepts of mathematics.
January 23, 2020: CRA Sequence of Instruction for Fractions
February 21, 2020, 8:30am to 11:30am: CRA Sequence of Instruction for Addition and Subtraction
February 21, 2020, 12:30pm to 3:30pm: CRA Sequence of Instruction for Multiplication and Division
Target Audience: Regular education teachers, teachers with inclusive settings and teachers of students with disabilities. Also appropriate for Math Coaches, Math Specialists, Special Education Coordinators/Supervisors, Curriculum Directors, Administrators. This event is not relevant to short-term and day-to-day substitutes and paraprofessionals.
