Advanced Clinical Services (ACS) features comprehensive, evidence-based services to assess, diagnose and treat students with complex behaviors and related mental health disorders. The program compliments existing services, while also expanding to include additional behavioral support options.   ACS is led by a team of highly trained professionals including licensed psychologists, board certified behavior analysts, mental health specialists, and case managers.  Our continuum of services will address the needs of students presenting with extreme behavioral challenges.

Advanced Clinical Services (ACS) provides board-certified behavior analysts (BCBA) to assist in the assessment and treatment of students with significant behavioral challenges. 

• Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA)
• Develop Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP)
• Provide ongoing student-specific consultation and training

The Attend Program is a comprehensive, evidence-based program that assesses, diagnoses and treats students aged 5-21 with school refusal behaviors and related anxiety problems. The Attend Family Program is designed to intervene early in addressing habitually truant behavior in school-aged students. The goal of the program is to work with students in combination with their family in order to address barriers to school attendance.

• Psychological evaluation by a licensed psychologist to diagnose underlying mental health condition(s)
• Functional behavioral assessment by a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) in the home and school settings to evaluate the environmental variable(s)
• Positive behavior support plan (PBSP) designed to address identified needs
• Support by a mental health specialist (MHS) to assist with implementation of the PBSP in the home 

ASSIST is an assessment and intervention program for students who exhibit symptoms of Tourette Syndrome or related tic disorders. Utilizing proven research-based evaluation and intervention strategies, ASSIST works with students in their school environment to decrease tic symptoms and improve overall functioning and quality of life.

Treatment includes:

• Psychoeducation to identify positive and negative influencers
• Self-awareness training to self-monitor for early signs that a tic is about to occur
• Relaxation training to decrease the general level of tension and discomfort
• Competing response training to teach a replacement response to the tic
• Social support for training of staff, peers and family members to improve success
