The Computer Information Systems - Programming program teaches students highly desirable skills that translate into job security in the Information Age. Students interested in coding, computers and technology learn the fundamentals of computer programming and troubleshooting. Students are given the tools to succeed in post-secondary education and have the opportunity for entry-level positions in information technology, programming and development.

The Department of Education provides a CIP Code to approved Programs of Study (POS).  Schools and postsecondary institutions use the CIP code to categorize the POS, outline the scope and sequence of educational offerings and develop a POS task list. Review the task list.
