K-21 Students

  • Learning support programs provide individualized learning experiences for students, ages five through 21 years old, who have a chronic condition of presumed neurological origin in oral expression, written expression, basic reading skills, reading comprehension, mathematical calculation and mathematical reasoning.  Specially designed instruction develops functional skills ranging from survival and self-help to basic academic skills.

    The primary goal is to increase cognitive and academic achievement and to increase basic interpersonal skills.

Career & Technical Education Students

  • The learning support program provides academic support services for high school students participating in Career and Technical programs. The level of intervention is based upon individual student needs. 

    The primary goal of this program is to integrate the academic, social, and behavioral skills necessary for students to be successful in their community and choice of post-secondary outcomes.
