ABOUT PSEL
The Pennsylvania Scholastic Esports League (PSEL) is led by the CCIU and formed from a shared vision with the North American Scholastic Esports Federation (NASEF) to provide opportunities for ALL learners.
-
MISSION
To educate young people, prioritize learning and inclusivity, all while providing students a safe and structured environment to play competitively at a local, state and national level.
-
ESPORTS BENEFITS
There is a growing trend of young students playing video games competitively and an increasing need for STEM & computer science skills in the workforce. While participating in esports that include educational activities and concepts, students can also build vital STEM and teamwork skills that prepare them for future college and career paths. Esports also allows for inclusivity, as students of all abilities can join school teams and tournament play.
