Representatives from over 100 colleges nationwide have the opportunity to meet with high school students and their parents at Chester County Virtual College Fair, which is hosted by the Chester County Intermediate Unit. Additionally, due to the success of last year's Transitioning Beyond High School program, we are excited to invite students to join us for the program again this year. Colleges with programs for those with all abilities will be attending to speak about topics such as: living and transportation accommodations, receiving a certificate versus receiving a four year degree and the various programs that are available.
This year's fair will be powered by VisitDays, a user-friendly platform that provides intuitive, informative, interactive and fun virtual experiences. For ease of use, we created an Instructional Guide for how to set up your VisitDays account and begin selecting the school(s) you'd like to meet with in a live and/or one-on-one session.
Attending the fair provides career readiness opportunities for students by ensuring that they have access to career exploration and preparation activities that are standards-aligned and evidence-based. This includes the development of career plans and portfolios that help students identify pathways and opportunities for postsecondary success.
*Students can register now. You may preview institutions from October 26-28. Colleges will be "live" on Wednesday, October 28 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

General Information
This year's fair will be powered by VisitDays, a user-friendly platform that provides intuitive, informative, interactive and fun virtual experiences! VisitDays is the same vendor working with NACAC to provide a virtual platform for this years’ National College Fairs. If your college works with VisitDays for those fairs, the setup for the Chester County Virtual College Fair will be very similar and easy for you to use! If you have not yet worked with VisitDays, we know you’ll find them to be very professional, user-friendly and supportive. The CCIU is committed to providing a top-quality virtual event with the high-level student engagement for which our fair is known.

Students will be able to sign up for a one-on-one session(s) with their institution of choice or choose to attend the institution’s live 30-minute presentation that will take place from 5-8 p.m. Please note that institutions will receive a notification when attendees sign up for a one-on-one session or live presentation.
Our goal for this year's virtual fair is to provide successful and valuable interactions between institution representatives and attendees, as well as utilize VisitDays’ promotional feature for students to review and consider institutions before AND after the fair.
