The Information Technology (IT) Division's primary responsibility is developing, supporting, securing and maintaining CCIU's internal information and technology infrastructure, but IT also collaborates closely with the IES Division in the latter's external technology offerings, including special customized consulting and contracts for assistance with information systems and a wide variety of technologies.
The CCIU Information Technology staff are experts in their fields and are fully qualified on major operating platforms and technologies. Specialties and services include:
- Technical Support services for macOS, Windows and ChromeOS computers
- Recommendations for macOS, ChromeOS and Windows-based hardware, software, operating systems, and peripherals
- Hardware repair and maintenance for various manufacturers and platforms
- Technology infrastructure: enterprise networks, telephony, door access security and video security
- Systems and software analysis and database development
- Network planning, recommendations, installation, security and maintenance
