  • Are you and your students searching for engaging ways to connect classroom learning to potential career pathways and
    real-world experience?

    This year, the Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) is offering high school students the opportunity to learn from experienced computer science (CS) professionals through our in school virtual job shadowing program. Classes of students will explore the day-to-day responsibilities common in numerous CS roles, learn about the skills and training necessary to pursue a career in CS and receive answers to career questions directly from current professionals.

    Through this program, your students will develop connections and receive an experience that will help inform their decision-making process for life during high school and beyond!

    PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS:

    • Career discovery with CS professionals in cybersecurity, network engineering, robotics, programming and more!
    • Each one-hour session features two CS professionals
    • Practical exposure to actual CS projects and work
