    In the Barbering program, students practice safety, visualization skills and proper work habits to obtain licensure. With appropriate scheduling and good attendance, those who have obtained sufficient hours will be eligible to take the Pennsylvania State Board of Barbering Examination and gain entry level employment in the barbering field.

    Career Options: 
     
    You can become a hair stylist, colorist, barber, barber shop owner or platform artist.
