    The Computer Information Systems — Networking program prepares students for high-demand careers in one of the fastest growing fields in the computer industry today. There is an emphasis on hands-on training in operating systems and networking equipment. Graduates are ready for post-secondary education and entry-level positions in the computer support, operations and networking fields.

    Program Concentrations:

    • Foundations and principles of computer science
    • Industry standard network security procedures
    • Installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware and operating systems
    • Implementation, management and maintenance of a Microsoft network structure
    • Set up, management and configuration of Cisco switching and router devices

    Career Options:

    You can become a network specialist, network technician, network administrator, information technology specialist, computer help-desk technician, systems analyst or webmaster.
