Dr. Susan Mateka

Dr. Mateka has served as principal at the Child and Career Development Center since 2002. Dr. Mateka began working for the CCIU in 1986 as a teacher at the CCDC. She taught for 14 years in various programs before becoming the assistant principal. Dr. Mateka accepted the principal position in 2002, and after 37 years is retiring in June 2023. Dr. Mateka considers CCDC her second family. She has dedicated her career to ensuring children with special and unique needs not only get a quality education but also spend their day feeling respected and valued.

Mrs. Erin Sankner

Mrs. Sankner has served as assistant principal of the CCDC since 2022. She began working for the CCIU in 2006 as an instructional assistant at Conestoga High School. In 2008, she started her teaching career at the CCIU’s CHAAMP program. In 2011, Mrs. Sankner transitioned to the CCDC where she taught in various multiple disabilities support classrooms and worked as a teacher on special assignment. In 2022, Mrs. Sankner was named the assistant principal at the CCDC.

Ms. Jennifer Williams

Ms. Williams has served as an assistant principal at the Child and Career Development Center (CCDC) since July 2017. She first joined team CCIU in 2005 as a middle school life skills teacher at CCDC. For the past 18 years, she taught in the elementary and secondary learning support classrooms in addition to the CCIU's Career Academy. After many years in the classroom, Ms. Williams accepted the position of dean of students at the Learning Center in February 2014. Ms. Williams graduated from Stockton University in 2000 and obtained her special education certification from West Chester University in 2003. She received her master’s degree in educational leadership from Cabrini College in 2015.
