Mr. Seth Schram, Principal
Mr. Schram began his career in the restaurant business at a very young age. He aspired to be a teacher and a chef. After working as a multifaceted chef, Mr. Schram was able to combine the two professions of culinary arts and education. As the Catering Manager for the University of Delaware 1991, Mr. Schram had his first opportunity to work with many HRIM students. He next combined his careers in education and as a chef as a Social Studies and Culinary Arts teacher at the Juvenile Detention Center in 1992. He then spent seven years teaching Culinary Arts at Central Montco Technical High School. Simultaneously, Mr. Schram was also a Hotel Restaurant & Institutional Management (HRIM) Professor at Cheyney University where he helped to plan and expedite a major curriculum change and kitchen renovation at the university. In 1999, Mr. Schram became an Assistant Director at Central Montco Technical High School, leading the staff and a helping with a state of the art renovation. In 2007 Mr. Schram was hired by CCIU, and in 2008 he became the first Principal of the newly-built TCHS Pennock’s Bridge, which he helped guide through the planning process. In 2010 Mr. Schram became the Principal of CAT Brandywine much in preparation for the planning of TCHS Brandywine. In 2012 Mr. Schram was the first Principal of the brand new TCHS Brandywine, which he similarly guided through the planning process. Mr. Schram became Principal of TCHS Pickering in 2016, where he is currently planning and guiding the school through extensive renovations.
