The Kindergarten Summit will serve as a catalyst to review strategic practices, develop solutions and fuel collaboration around offering a full-day Kindergarten program. A panel discussion and tabletop discussions give participants an opportunity to learn from educational leaders who have adopted and implemented a full-day kindergarten program. Topics for discussion will include systematic considerations of a full-day program, the journey through transition with the public and school board members on adopting full-day kindergarten, impact on budgets and buildings, educational benefits to students including long term data and results, teaching staff, curriculum materials, and many other relevant considerations.
