About

The CCIU Artificial Intelligence Endorsement is a 12-credit, post-baccalaureate program for certified educators seeking to integrate AI tools, ethics, and design principles into K–12 teaching. Building on the success of the Integrative STEM Endorsement, it emphasizes project-based, inquiry-driven, and job-embedded learning.

Participants complete four fully online, three-credit courses (≈11 weeks each) with 10–15 hours of field-based experience. Courses include two virtual-synchronous sessions for collaboration and reflection and are organized in weekly modules via Canvas. Flexible sequencing and rotating cohort start dates make it easy to fit into busy schedules.

Graduates are prepared to design AI-enhanced learning experiences, analyze data-driven outcomes, apply ethical considerations, and provide leadership in AI integration—all without prior coding or computer science experience.

Best for: Classroom teachers, instructional coaches, curriculum leaders, and administrators who want to explore AI applications in education and lead innovative practices in their schools or districts.
