About
This course is designed to provide the school leader with the understanding that a school culture of equity is one where educators create a classroom, school, and system where excellence is achieved for every student, no matter who that student is or where that student comes from.
Major Course Ideas:
- In an equitable school culture, diversity and excellence are standard for everyone.
- An equitable school supports and values every student's unique background, strengths, and challenges.
- Equity thrives in a safe environment where both students and adults can take risks and engage deeply, with faculty holding high expectations and responsibilities, and understanding racial and cultural differences.
