Building and Maintaining a Foundation of Trust
For school district cabinet level teams

Building trust is foundational to school district success. All district leaders have a responsibility to do their part in creating an environment of trust. Drawing on Stephen Covey's best-selling book, The Speed of Trust and other research-based resources, Educational Leadership Consulting will define trust and present why organizational trust is important. The workshop will also include interactive ways to assess trust throughout your district. The facilitators will conclude by offering constructive strategies to enhance and maintain trust among all.

Strengthening the Team of 10: Creating a Constructive Partnership between the School Board and Superintendent
For Board-Superintendent Teams

Research shows that strong district governance has a direct impact on student outcomes. This workshop will focus on why districts function best when leaders are working in tandem according to their respective roles and responsibilities. The session will also review the importance of operating in a cohesive manner, and how best to achieve that goal. In addition, facilitators will provide participants with authentic school district scenarios and an opportunity to discuss and apply best practices in governance and leadership to address them.
