Math Interventionist Micro-Credential

Explore Offerings

Program Overview:

The Math Interventionist Micro-Credential is a three-course, nine-credit program designed primarily for elementary educators who teach or support mathematics instruction, particularly those providing math intervention.

Unlike other subject areas, the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) does not currently offer an add-on certification or endorsement specific to mathematics intervention. This program fills that gap by providing a research-based, practice-oriented pathway for educators to strengthen their skills in math instruction, data-driven intervention, and instructional leadership.

Participants will develop deep expertise in multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS), evidence-based instructional practices, and the specialized knowledge needed to improve mathematics learning outcomes for all students.
