Adult Skills Development Program
The Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) Adult Skills Development Program offers free classes for all adult learners who need additional help in math and critical reading skills. The program helps adult learners gain the college and career readiness skills needed to enter and succeed in the workforce and/or postsecondary education. The courses run from September to May.
Academic support can help adult learners:
- Succeed in adult vocational training programs
- Obtain the General Educational Development (GED) certificate
All CCIU Adult Education Classes are taught by certified teachers. The teachers have experience in adult education and understand the unique needs of adult learners.
