Data Governance Services
The Chester County Intermediate Unit formed a Data Governance Team in May 2021. Our Data Governance team has four members who have over 35 years of combined experience in PIMS, Child Accounting, and State/Federal Compliance reporting. Our team has experience with several student information systems and is entirely devoted to working in Pennsylvania Information Management System (PIMS). We have the expertise and insight to assist your LEA in optimizing efficiencies and useable output. From initial system orientation to customized consulting, CCIU works to help you achieve your data governance goals.
PIMS was developed to improve data capabilities and enhance school districts' capacities to meet student-level data reporting requirements and provide robust decision support tools. PIMS is an ever-evolving system but remains of utmost importance for school districts. In addition, the PA Dept of Education utilizes the data collected through PIMS for statewide decision making, publishing on the Future Ready PA Index, and directing over $13 Billion in subsidies. How can our Data Governance Team help you?
