    The school counselor monitors academic progress and credit completion. Progress reports are sent home quarterly. Grades can be monitored on a daily basis through Power School. Parents can receive log in information by contacting the counseling department. The school counselor is available to assist students with academic and career planning. Students remain with the same counselor until graduation.  The counselor also serves as liaison between teachers, parents, and sending school staff? 

     

    Services provided by the Counseling Department include:

     

    • Individual student career planning and scheduling
    • Financial aid awareness (including grant and scholarship process)
    • 504 administration and case management
    • Dual-enrollment opportunities
    • Administration of the PSAT, NOCTI, and ASVAB assessments 
    • Tech Star team member
    • Scheduling of post-secondary school visits 
    • Brandywine Virtual Academy liaison
    • CTE shadowing and program changes
