Chester County Youth Orchestra's (CCYO) Third Annual Mid-Winter Pops! Concert

The Chester County Youth Orchestra (CCYO) would like to invite the public to its Third Annual Mid-Winter Pops! Concert. Under the direction of Mrs. Katrina Kelly and Mr. Mark Cellini, the orchestra will perform music from stage and screen, including music from Star Wars, Wicked and more!

The concert will be held on Sunday, February 24 at 3:00 pm at the Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center (226 N. High St., West Chester, PA 19380).  Tickets are now available at https://uptownwestchester.org.

CCYO provides an opportunity for students in grades 6 to 12 to experience the joy of making music with a full symphony orchestra and allows them to meet fellow musicians from school districts across Chester County and nearby areas. CCYO is dedicated to giving young musicians the chance to grow musically by performing challenging works from the standard orchestral literature, as well as music from the cinema and the Broadway Stage. These talented students hone their performance skills and learn a wide variety of music. As members of the CCYO, students gain experience playing music of many different composers, styles and time periods.

CCYO is consistently seeking musically talented students from the ages of 11 to 18 and invites you to audition with them. Audition dates for all instruments are posted on their website. For those looking to financially partner with the orchestra, gifts of any amount are appreciated and can be sent to CCYO at P.O. Box 560, Downingtown, PA 19335.
