FCCLA Students Take Home Awards at State Conference, Qualify for Nationals

TCHS Pickering is proud of a total of 11 students who took home medals at the Pennsylvania Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) State Leadership Conference held March 20-22, 2019 at Seven Springs Resort. Students who earned a gold medal at states included Kyra Bernotas, Abby Duffy Parry, Lea Fine, Mikayla Kilpatrick and Daniela Tigre. Students who earned a silver medal included Collin Dean, Colby Song, Efrosini Passalis, Divya Samant and Jake Smith while Katya Saylor earned a bronze medal. The first place gold winners are eligible to participate in the National FCCLA Leadership Conference being held in Anaheim, California from June 30-July 4, 2019. We are extremely proud of the great work our students are doing and would like to thank Mrs. Ellen Nutter and Mrs. Beth Smiley for their leadership with our FCCLA students!
