TCHS students excel at PA State FFA Convention

Veterinary Science and Animal Science students from TCHS Pennock's Bridge traveled to the Pennsylvania State FFA Convention on June 14-16, 2016 to compete in the Veterinary Science Career Development Event (CDE) and Wildlife CDE.  
 
Out of 93 students competing in the Veterinary Science CDE from across the state of Pennsylvania, our students finished as follows:
Team Event Winners
Halle Becker, 11th grade Veterinary Science from Octorara placed 3rd - Gold medal
Olivia Worrall, 11th grade Animal Science from Oxford placed 4th - Gold medal
Gabby DiLossi, 11th grade Veterinary Science from Oxford placed 5th - Gold medal
Hope Weaver, 11th grade Veterinary Science from Oxford placed 6th - Gold medal
 
These four students also competed in a team activity and won first place, earning the opportunity to represent Pennsylvania at the National FFA Convention in the Fall of 2016.

Carolyn Altig, 11th grade Veterinary Science from Avon Grove placed 8th - Gold medal
Millie Echevarria, 11th grade Veterinary Science from Kennett placed 15th - Silver medal
Mickayla Kauffman, 10th grade Veterinary Science from Octorara placed 16th - Silver medal
Paul Kavanaugh, 11th grade Animal Science from Avon Grove won a silver medal in Wildlife CDE.
