The Technical College High School (TCHS) Brandywine Campus had another successful Career and Training Fair. Over 300 students from Brandywine and Pennock’s Bridge campuses attended the fair and interviewed with approximately 50 employers looking to find qualified candidates for open positions.

Students who attended the fair brought along scoring sheets to each interview, which employers used to give feedback, focusing on strengths as well as areas to improve. Additionally, students came prepared with portfolios that included resumes, cover letters, thank you letters and a career plan.

More than 1,118 interviews were conducted, with 257 students being offered a second interview and 168 students walking away with a job offer.

Students came not only prepared with their portfolios but did so in style. Thanks to the “Dress for Success” program, students were provided with professional attire. 175 students utilized the program to gain the professional attire that they wore to the fair and were allowed to keep their new clothes for future interviews and careers.
