The Technical College High School Brandywine Campus students did it again! Students from Baking and Pastry, Criminal Justice & Police Sciences, Cosmetology, and Teacher Leadership Academy gave up their Friday night to volunteer at the second Annual Beaver Creek Elementary School Trunk or Treat. The TCHS students lent their program expertise to help make the event perfectly spooktacular. The Criminal Justice & Police Science students assisted with parking, directing guests and running candy. Their instructors, Mr. Steve Dintino and Mr. James Sharkey, created an amazing caution tape maze, too! While the Criminal Justice students were stationed outside, the Cosmetology students were inside transforming the Beaver Creekers into fairy princesses, super heroes, monsters and more! The Baking and Pastry students concocted some creepy creations with the kids to enjoy. The Beaver Creek students also enjoyed playing games with the Teacher Leadership Academy students.
The TCHS students’ efforts to help everyone and keep everything organized did not go unnoticed. Beaver Creek’s principal and parents noted that the event was well organized and put together and that having the TCHS volunteers was very smart. Families also commented that the TCHS volunteers definitely made the event run smoothly. These TCHS students made a big impact on the community by volunteering their time and giving back to the students and families at the Beaver Creek Trunk or Treat.
Thank you to the following students for their participation:
