CCIU Celebrates Nick Kraynak's Millennial Superstar Recognition
The Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) proudly announces that Nicholas A. Kraynak, M.Ed., PCSBO, director of operations has been named to the 2024 Class of VISTA Millennial Superstars for Chester County. The Millennial Superstar recognition, presented by Penn State Great Valley and VISTA.Today, celebrates dynamic business and professional leaders under the age of 40 who are shaping the future of Chester County.
The fifth annual quest by VISTA.Today to identify the county's most vibrant young leaders attracted a surge of nominations, shining a spotlight on the accomplishments of millennials who are making substantial impacts in their fields and communities. The 2024 cohort of VISTA Millennial Superstars comprises 40 outstanding individuals from various sectors, showcasing the rich talent and groundbreaking ideas present in Chester County. These honorees will be acknowledged at an Awards Reception & Celebration scheduled for May 9.
Kraynak’s inclusion in the 2024 Class reflects his exceptional leadership, professionalism and dedication to serving the Chester County community. Kraynak oversees facilities, student safety, security and transportation for CCIU. That includes all construction and renovation projects, including construction of a new Child and Career Development Center in Malvern to support our most vulnerable learners.
“Nick joined the CCIU just as we were embarking upon a period of the greatest expansion in the organization’s history. He quickly assumed a leadership role in the coordination of over $80,000,000 in capital projects, including the creation of two new campuses and the renovations at several existing schools and program sites,” said Joseph Lubitsky, Administrative Services Division Director.
Kraynak embodies the CCIU’s values of building a better Chester County and beyond. He just completed a 4-year term on the Borough of Phoenixville Civic Service Commission, is a member of the homeowners association board of directors and actively volunteers with Phoenixville Area YMCA gymnastics. His former accolades include the PA Association of School Business Officials Award of Achievement.
Kraynak shared, “I am very honored and humbled to be selected in the 2024 class of 40 under 40 Vista Millennial Superstars. As an employee of Chester County Intermediate Unit, I get to impact the daily lives of students from around the county and beyond. Thank you to Vista for the recognition, not only for myself, but for the other honorees, as we work to inspire the next generation of leaders. I am excited about serving the residents of Chester County while playing a small role in making this the best place to live and work.”
