The Avon Grove Intermediate Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Learning Program partnered with Leap into Science and The Franklin Institute to present workshops on balance, light and shadow to 5th and 6th grade students. These workshops provided unique opportunities for students to experiment with light, explore how it interacts with objects to create shadows and reflections and explore the concept of balance, both in our bodies and in the environment. The students loved engaging in these hands-on learning experiences!
