Upon request, the Chester County Intermediate Unit provides management consultation to school districts. Management consultation services include, but are not limited to: staffing studies, computer training for school district personnel, cost-benefit analyses, human resources consultation, policy development and logistical support.

Media Duplication Services

The Teacher Center provides media duplication services such as VHS to DVD conversion, VHS/CD/DVD duplication and custom printed labels.

Mental Health Partial Hospitalization Programs
(CARE Program – Child Partial)/ (Reach Program – Adolescent Partial)

Mental health partial hospitalization programs provide a therapeutic setting to address the academic and mental health needs of students unable to learn in a typical school setting. A psychiatric recommendation is required for placement.

The primary goal of these programs is to enhance the psychological well-being of students who experience emotional stress which prohibits their ability to learn in the regular school setting.

 Migrant Education Services

The Migrant Education Program provides for the educational, social and health needs of over 600 children in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties. Specific services include instructional support, learning reinforcement, multicultural services, health referrals, parent involvement coordination, after-school and summer programs. 
 
Multi-Disability Support - Child Development Center

The multi-disability support program provides learning experiences for students aged 5-21 years old that have been diagnosed with multiple disabilities by a physician and school psychologist.

The primary goal is to develop basic and independent living skills. Students receive instruction in the following areas:
  • Social and behavioral skills
  • Pre-vocational
  • Specialized feeding programs
  • Daily living skills
  • Communication skills
  • Augmentative communicative devices
  • Community-based instruction
  • Sensory integration
  • Assessment of Basic Language and Learning Skills (ABLLS)
  • Academics
